Happy Birthday To Thomas....

Well, now that the day is basically over, I have the right to let everyone who didn't know..Today was Thomas Louis' #24! I hope he had a great day, which I feel like he did! I had a lot of fun planning the evening! We had a yummy steak dinner, which was my very first steak to cook, so thank you, thank you. We then had a delicious funfetti birthday cake. We are both not big sweet eaters.. so come over for some cake! Thomas then got to open all of his gifts from his wife! I had such a fun time getting him little small things and picking out my first husband birthday card.

Okay Okay-- Enough of the sentimental stuff...down to the gifts...

Thomas now has more money than I do...
He also has an iPhone belt case, a car charger, screen protectors, an arm band for running, and a FM transmitter dock that will be going back due to the fact that it started a small fire in the car when we were trying to figure it out. That gift will not be staying in the Odom Household!
He also has one more shirt and tie, a little big, but we can fix that!
And last but not least..Yummy coffee beans!

The First Husband Birthday Card

Yummy! Coffee Beans for my High-Tech Coffee Maker

Running Arm Band for iPhone.. Pretty Nifty

The new shirt and tie!

I love birthdays...if you can't tell. I've often times wondered if I'd be safe to admit that they are almost as grand as Christmas itself. And that is a huge statement when you know what Christmas looks at my family's get together after Santa Savannah leaves!

Back to just normal boring Mallory days ha!...Without the birthday hullabaloo!
Nicholas Sparks books are normally sad, but the past few I've read have been surprisingly upbeat. Now the next ones I read will be tear jerkers, just because I said that. Murphy's law.
I was also blessed to have Thomas take me to see the new Harry Potter movie. Yes, I'm a Harry fan, I jumped on that bandwagon about a year ago, fell in love with the books, and read them all in one semester of college. I know, I know! But really- don't dis until you've tried them. I loved the movie, it was amazing! Very much perfect for the set up of the next book; however, I will always say books are better than movies. But in Harry Potter's defensive on the movie screen, the movies would be 4 hours long if they made it just like the book. Yes that much action! I'm telling you, just try reading them. Either you like them or you don't! I, for one, am highly anticipating the 7th book being made into movies, but I am not anxious about the two years I have to wait to see the end. Good thing I already know what happens! Hope Thomas Louis will wanna go see those too!!
During the previews, I saw one for a new dance movie, "Fame," is this a remake? I hear they are remaking Footloose, with Juliane Hough, so we will see if that is good. Sometimes you just can't remake a classic.

Anywho.. Because who really cares what I ramble on about.. Worst thing Thomas every did getting me on a blog...

Wishing my hubby the best first birthday we spend together. I am blessed to have him and I hope I get to celebrate hundreds more birthdays with him.
