Thomas Loves Surprises so...
He secretly planned a wonderful Valentine's Day Weekend and did not tell me what we were doing until we were at the restaurant! We went to Minneapolis and had dinner at the very yummy Cheesecake Factory! We both ate way too much and enjoyed our cheesecake a little too much! He also planned for us to stay at the Hilton in downtown Minneapolis. It was AMAZING!!! We stayed on the 24th floor and had a magnificent view of the cities! Below are pictures, but unfortunately Thomas and I fail to get pictures of ourselves when we got our for special occasions. We used to be good at things like that!! Thomas looked exceptional and he said I did too, so I guess you will just have to envision us at our best! On Sunday, we had a complimentary breakfast at the Hilton, then headed over to the Mall of America for a little shopping. We finally got Thomas another wedding band, yes, he lost his and we have tore our house apart and finally resigned ourselves to get a new one. Now, we will find his... Murphy's Law. On our way back to the big Owatonna, we stopped at Wendy's for actual Valentine's Day lunch..I mean who wouldn't want a go wrap on love day?! Then we spent the rest of the night watching the Olympics because we are avid Olympic fans! The next few weeks will fly by with the Olympics then my parents will be here! Then home to Georgia!!

What a fun getaway. I know you enjoyed getting away, and I'm sure it was good for Thomas to walk away from his routine for a couple of days. Love the shots of the city...miss seeing you two in them though. Hope the ring appears!((
