Home Sweet Georgia (Half of Us)

You mean we have to be up at 2:45am,
leave at 3:15 am,
and be at the airport by 5:00am?

Oh.. To go to Georgia?
OKAY!!! COUNT US IN!!

The view we have been waiting on for months...
Dorothy was right, there is no place like home!
Our First Week in Georgia-

It's been a fun, discouraging, uplifting, never ending, can't get enough, loving, and understanding process...house hunting that is. We have an amazing realtor and we couldn't be happier just plunging ahead and embarking on this next chapter!
Back to the ING MARATHON--
Treadmill training in negative temperatures in Minnesota....
Doesn't quite prepare you for a hilly, rainy Georgia course!
Thomas did a great job for the training he put in and I, as well as everyone else, was extremely proud of him!! Always am, always will be. It takes a special person to have the endurance to do things like that..why wouldn't I support him? Rain or shine.... :)
Landon and Matt completed the half-marathon together at about 1 hrs 55 minutes (I think, don't get mad if I'm off on the time...they did great no matter what!), Ingram qualified for Boston Marathon, running a 3 hr 8 minute marathon... GO INGRAM!
Below is a picture of the course...what the drawing doesn't show... HILLS!!
Pretty sure we forgot what those were!!

Us at the end of the marathon

Thomas is back in Minnesota for 2 weeks, and I really miss him, but I am loving being at home, in Georgia, with family, friends, laying by the pool, spending time in the schools here, spending my time crossing my fingers, hoping, and praying that a job will open up for me, and pretty much house hunt all the time... oh.. and I still read. Thomas can continue to make fun of me for the number of books I've read these past months! Currently I'm getting my read on for "The Last Song" so I can go see the movie next week with friends!

According to Thomas, Phase 3 is extremely busy...getting everything ready to travel.
I will be glad when he starts to travel...Cause then I get to see him!!

Check Owatonna weather..Thomas says its gorgeous, and in the upper 70s! Glad he's not having snow and cold while we enjoy beautiful spring weather!

Well I guess that's about it for now!

Hope all is going well with family and friends! Thanks for always checking in on us!
Love y'all!

  3. Mallory, welcome back to good old Georgia. I know you are happy to be back with your family and friends --- also nice spring weather! We will be so happy when you can both be back to stay. Hopefully, you will find a house before too long. If not, you can rent an apartment until you find the right one.Always love your blogs and the pictures. Thanks!!!
