Happy Fall Y'all!

So..We did NOT fall off the face of the planet..
Just been really busy!!
Here's an update from the past month:
-burnt kitchen from grease fire
-my beloved Alti of 8 years, died on the side of the road
(side note- 2nd day of school....)
-had to buy a new car
(but we aren't complaining, those first few weeks, we spent a lot of time in the garage...)

- Thomas was really excited about having a lawn to mow,
so he mowed our yard using a friend's mower--
and stepped in a yellow jackets nest...
got stung all over his ankles
- my parents gave us their old mower, it had some issues, and we didn't get to blow the drive off, so Thomas created his own "blower."
I mean if you're gonna be a Dahlongea Nugget- why not be one proudly?!

-finally have my own front porch to decorate for each season...
and I am so very excited about that and decorating the inside as well!

We are both busy, but loving, our jobs. My students keep me on my toes and I am loving each one of them more everyday. I love teaching and learning right along with my students! They are a great group! Thomas is kicking it on the sales... high up in the numbers for his area! I am super proud of him and how dedicated he is to his job! He's worn out at the end of every day, as am I....we live for Friday afternoon! :)

Keep him in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow as he does the Six Gap Century bike ride here in Dahlonega. Starts about 7:30am tomorrow and he is hoping to finish between 3:00 and 4:00. He is cracking me up daily when he comes in from rides and states "she ain't what she used to be!" That year in Minnesota took a toll on his body..but he's getting there. Its a long ride tomorrow, so just remember him if you think about it! :)

As always- Thanks for checking in!

Hopefully it wont be as long before you hear from us again! Come visit anytime! We've got plenty of room and would love to see you!!

Love y'all!!
