Labor Day Weekend

We had a very relaxing weekend. Thomas passed his final insurance test, so we are now all cleared and ready for Minnesota! I say we, but I definitely did not do anything to help pass these tests! We will be getting geared up for packing up our first lovely home the next week or so. We have loved our home and we will miss it, but we are so ready for this adventure we are about to embark upon!
My daddy wanted all summer long to have a picnic with Momma, Savannah, Jake, Thomas, and me up at the Pocket, here in town--so this Saturday, we headed up to the Pocket, had a very wonderful time cooking out and playing games with the family. Savannah, Jake, Thomas and I all went on the 2.5 mile hike, that seemed to never end and I am still wondering whose idea it was! We even missed eating with momma and daddy! Crazy hiking adventures that Thomas takes us on! :)
We won't discuss the Georgia Game. We know things will get better. GO DAWGS!
Had to change the blog around to show that no matter what, we love the Dawgs!!! Hopefully Minnesota will let us watch them too!
I had a blast watching the Alabama and Virginia Tech game with Thomas, not because I like either of those teams, but because Dorian Porch, #24 on Virigina Tech went all through middle and high school with me and it was so fun to see him out there playing hard and making something of himself. He was always so talented and I am so very proud of his accomplisments! So not "Go Hookies," but "Go Dorian!!"
Thomas and I spent all Sunday afternoon watching Law and Order SVU marathons on USA Network... Yes I know! Get a life! But it was good to relax together.
Labor Day---
Thomas headed out to Dahlonega for a few days, after he put in our new thermostat. Yeah...No air conditioner for awhile. So Thomas is off to our beloved town for a few days, while I stayed back at my parents house. I thought I was going to just pack up my Minnesota stuff, but I found myself cleaning out the basement with mom, and washing all my winter clothes because the damp basement was NOT good for them. Glad I got to them when I did!
Tomorrow starts Kindergarten back! I am so excited to have the next few weeks with them. Oh how I will miss them when we leave!!! If you ever need a good laugh, be sure to call me... I've got plenty to tell!
See ya back soon!
