THEY PREDICTED CORRECT!!
13 inches, snow drifts, and cold!!
-9 I believe was the coldest it got so far.

December 9th:

From inside the house,
that's the snow that packed on the window from the snow drifts!

That's right.. I can shovel snow.
(But don't tell anyone..I'm very sore!)

December 10th:
Time to play in it!
The snow doesn't really pack well.
It's dry, not wet and mushy like Georgia snow.
So Mr. Frosty Odom is very short and stocky.
But I still love him!

Federated's Parking Lot..
Don't you love the mounds of snow from where they blow it to open up parking lots?!

Just snow down the middle of the roads.
We were told that the county workers no longer get overtime pay,
so when their 8 hour shifts are over, they will leave.
Hence why the road looks unfinished. Driving around on the 11th, the roads were completely clear, so as long as they get it done in their 8 hour shifts, I guess we will just learn to deal with it. I wouldn't work for no pay either!! Especially not with the snowplow!

First snowstorm---- Check

If you don't hear from us until after Christmas...
We sure do love you all! Thanks for keeping up with us!
WISHING YOU A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
