After a much needed break in Georgia, which by the way was wonderful and beautiful, filled with many family and friends, and a tad bit warmer, Thomas and I are back in Owatonna!
Phase Two has started and Thomas is much busier, and loving every minute of it. I have my teaching certificate, so I will be waiting on calls to substitute teach!
It's been in the double digit negative temperatures since we've been back, snow is at, but not limited to, 16+ inches, and the sun shines? The roads are very different and I am still adjusting to them, but I know that all will work out and that I will be protected!
The jacket my sister got me that goes down to -40 is AMAZING, Thomas loves his warm LL Bean and Columbia wear that he has, and we are just keeping on keeping on up here!

And just in case you were wondering what Thomas came home to after a week away:
That would be our front door and walkway....
And that would be a beautifully shoveled walkway after an hour and a half...
WANT SOME GREAT, FANTASTIC, AMAZING, AND SPLENDID NEWS?!
Thomas was offered the position as the Marketing Representative for the Northeast Georgia territory, which includes our beloved Dahlonega, the Wednesday before Christmas, and of course he gladly accepted!!
We are starting our search for houses, and I am already on the hunt, or look out for possible job opportunities in the area. I know things are slim and the economy is still hurting, but I know that God has blessed us thus far, and if it is in His will for me to teach in August, He will open the doors for that to happen!
When Thomas starts Phase Three in April, I will be moving home to live with my parents the weeks he is in Owatonna, and then I'll stay with him while he is in the Northeast Georgia area.
We are very excited, truly blessed, and could never give God enough of our praise and glory for all he has done and will do for us. To Him be the glory!
Below are a few pictures from Christmas--
Pardon our early morning attire and looks in some of them, as well as a lack of pictures. My camera had battery when I left Owatonna, and when I went to use it-- it would not turn on. So we have a few from our phones!
Once again- we were truly blessed with our Christmas gifts and we hope one Christmas soon we can give as much as we want, as our families do for us every year!
Speaking of Christmas gifts--Thomas used his Christmas money for a PlayStation Three, and I still have some left after purchasing some movies and some clothes. All in all--We couldn't have had a better Christmas!
Thomas- Started and Ended First Job, Hired By Federated, Got Married, Moved to Owatonna, Started Work with Federated, and Found out Territory
Mallory- Graduated College, Got Married, Moved to Owatonna, Found out where we will live at the end of training, and Received Teaching Certificates in 2 States.
What an amazing year!
Thanks for checking up on us! It's great to be back together; however, we both agree this is just WAAAYYY TOOOO COLD!!
We will keep you updated on the progress of the temperatures and the snowfall... and we know you will keep us in your prayers as we stay warm and continue to follow God's will in our lives!
LOVE YOU ALL AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS WE KNOW YOU SEND UP FOR US!!

Looks like plenty of exercise shoveling snow! We loved seeing you over Christmas and count the days until you are home. We love the updates. Keep warm. Mallory, excited that you got the teaching certificate finalized up there. I'm sure you will get busy in the classroom soon. M Lu
